RECENTLY COMPLETED DEVELOPMENTS
Roman Park, Droitwich Kingerlee Homes and Boughton Butler have successfully obtained planning permission for this innovative scheme of 57 residential units on the former site of the Army Medals Office. The new homes will be built to at least Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, and to Level 4 where possible, depending on particular housetypes
Rhodewood, Saundersfoot New 36 unit, residential development within a National Park. We successfully negotiated a complex planning consent for 36 one and two bed apartments on this steep wooded site. Boughton Butler are now engaged in construction of the building phases. Boughton Butler took considerable care to address issues of sun paths, overlooking and scale of the various blocks. Given the site and the waterside National Park location, the residences are in great demand, pushing prices even higher than the developer had hoped
Hereford Hospital Regeneration As a purpose built Hospital design of the late 18th Century, Hereford Hospital has both architectural and historical value. The later extensions, in various phases up to the 1920's create a strong building group along the river frontage. The conversion of the hospital complex provides 50 conversion apartments together with a new-build contingent of 42 dwellings.
Croftdown, Malvern Conversion of former private school building into six luxury apartments, and five new build blocks, combining apartments and townhouses. This sensitive site stands in a conservation area. Careful planning negotiations were undertaken because of the potential impact on the Area of Outstanding natural Beauty.
Bramblings House New rural dwelling with wonderful panoramic views over the Teme Valley in West Worcestershire. A high ecological standard is demanded. The proposal employs all technological and natural solutions generated by studies of the site and its environment. Planning consent achieved with start on site summer 2008 ▪ Recycling of materials ▪ Large thermally massive structures ▪ Full day/night and annual environmental design ▪ Green roofs and water harvesting ▪ Full natural ventilation ▪ Heat exchangers ▪ Solar water heating ▪ Natural materials ▪ PV cells driving pumps ▪ Wind generators
