QUAYSIDE NEWCASTLE
91 luxury apartments,the design winning the competition with imaginative plans and river views for all dwellings combined with ecologically friendly and sustainable proposals for the development.

PRIORY DRIVE HULL.
Masterplan and design for 140 dwellings won in competition for the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust.
The estate for a registered social landlord includes sheltered housing, community facilities(illustrated)and dwellings especially designed for the disabled.

VICTORIA DOCK HULL.
The regeneration of the derelict area close to the city centre to provide a new community of 1200 dwellings, a new school and local facilities.The masterplan envisaged the central hub around the retained basin,a new promenade
along the Humber with the existing slipway(illustrated)a focus for private apartments.

BECKSIDE BEVERLEY.
The redevelopment of the former site of the medieval claypits and kilns in a sensitive position in the historic town providing desirable townhouses.The design was described by the Mayor of Beverley as a jewel in the town's crown.

WELLESLEY HOTEL LEEDS.
The conversion and addition of three new floors to the existing building on a tight city centre site to form 68 luxury apartments with duplex penthouse suites.The original building had lost its fine roof in a fire and we propose to reestablish its former glory and create extra value for the client.

Browne Smith Baker has been resposible for the design and technical detailing of over three hundred schemes for housing associations and residential developers including working with minority groups such as MIND,Doorstep,Womens Aid,The Homeless and Rootless Project and Faith in the City.

We have carried out the major regeneration of residential neighbourhoods with full resident consultation as the 604 dwellings for the North Hull Housing Action Trust.

The Practice have five awards for Good Design in Housing and two Civic Trust Awards.
